On June 2, the Group Party Committee convened the second-quarter joint meeting of branch secretaries. Attending the meeting were Comrade Liang Zhen, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee, staff members of the Party Building Office, and the secretaries and organizational committee members of all party branches. The meeting was chaired by Comrade Hu Donghui, a member of the Group Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection.

At the meeting, in light of the branch’s work progress during the first quarter, Jia Quanfu, Director of the Party Building Office, reported on the status of relevant initiatives, with a particular focus on the interim assessment of efforts to implement the Party Committee’s study and education campaign on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, and outlined the key tasks for the near term.

Li Haiying of the Party Building Office provided an interpretation of the five key changes between the 2026 edition and the 2014 edition of the “Detailed Rules for the Work of Developing Party Members of the Communist Party of China,” and set forth clear requirements for aligning with these standards in the management of party member files.

In addition, Comrade Hu Donghui, a member of the Group Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, reported on the progress of the “Two Excellences and One Pioneer” nomination process, recent honors received, and related applications for excellence‑driving and pioneering initiatives, in commemoration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party. He emphasized the need to study the 27 items across the five areas outlined in the “Strengthening Action Tasks” checklist, to ensure the effective implementation of the initiative to build model Party branches that serve as robust bastions. He also put forward recommendations for bolstering Party branches in advancing high‑quality enterprise development and ensuring safe production. Furthermore, he briefed attendees on the Party Building Office’s recent June inspections of branch activities—including the “Three Meetings and One Lesson” system and themed Party days—along with the implementation of the “First Agenda Item” system, the study of the tenth issue of the journal Qiushi titled “Strengthening, Improving, and Expanding the Real Economy,” and participation in the Alashan League essay contest on “Telling the Story of the Chinese National Community.”

At the conclusion of the meeting, Comrade Liang Zhen, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Group Party Committee, provided feedback on the party‑building work of the branch committees for the period from January to May. To enhance the professional capabilities of branch secretaries, he offered guidance centered on the principle that secretaries must “clearly understand what to do, know how to do it, and be fully aware of whom they are serving.” With a focus on leveraging party building to drive the development of the real economy, he urged each branch to refine its measures and fulfill its duties conscientiously.
