The Military Retirees’ Lecture Series visited Ruida Chemical Group to deliver a public outreach event.
To carry forward the spirit of military dedication, deepen joint efforts between the military and local communities, and promote a culture of supporting and honoring the armed forces, on May 25, the Alashan League Center for Retired Military Cadres hosted a themed lecture titled “Military Retirees’ Lecture Series: Visiting Ruida Chemical and Reflecting on Corporate Development,” which was organized by the Party Committee of Ruida Chemical Group. Comrade Zhang Xinhua, former commander of the Alashan Military Sub‑District and director of the League’s Military Retirees’ Management Committee, along with Comrade Tubuxin, director of the Alashan League Bureau of Veterans Affairs, attended the event. Comrade Wang Jinda, Party Secretary and Chairman of Ruida Chemical Group, together with members of the leadership team and more than 80 cadres and employees, participated in the program.

The core themes of this presentation are: staying true to one’s original aspiration of serving the military and guarding the borders; settling down after retirement to combat desertification; continuing to contribute even after leaving active duty; and urging employees to embrace responsibility. Over the past fifteen years, Commander Zhang Xinhua has remained steadfast in his original commitment, never losing his spirit upon retirement. He has proactively dedicated himself to the Alashan League’s ecological efforts to control desertification, stationing himself year after year in the Gobi Desert, planting trees to stabilize sand and leading the front lines of ecological restoration. Together with three other commanders, he has selflessly given back, setting an example through concrete actions that embody the noble qualities of loyalty, perseverance, and enduring dedication characteristic of veteran Party members and retired servicemen. Faced with daunting challenges—difficulties in planting, funding, land leasing, and labor recruitment—he has consistently sought solutions without backing down, demonstrating unwavering determination and confidence in seeing a single blueprint through to completion. Drawing on the Ruida Group’s journey of development, he delivered an inspiring political education session that vividly captured the spirit of contemporary soldiers, veterans, and those who have devoted themselves to frontier regions.

This event fully demonstrates the high regard and sincere care that higher-level authorities accord to work related to veterans, enterprise development, and military‑support initiatives. It also serves as a concrete manifestation of Ruida Group’s implementation of the Autonomous Region Party Committee’s “1571” work plan. At present, the Party Committee of Ruida Chemical Group is conducting study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of political achievements, with a key focus on striking the right balance between visible results and long‑term, underlying contributions—upholding the mindset that “success need not be attributed to me” while strengthening the sense of responsibility that “success must include my contribution.” It is hoped that, through this briefing, all members of the Ruida community will remain true to their original aspirations and mission, carry forward the spirit of the Mongolian horse, and adopt a pragmatic, down‑to‑earth work style. They should approach both work and life with high morale, cherish the hard‑won environment for development, diligently strengthen internal capabilities to ensure safe production, and actively fulfill their social responsibilities as a private enterprise.

Following the briefing, Comrade Zhang Xinhua and his delegation, accompanied by Comrade Wang Jinda, conducted an on-site visit to the production lines of affiliated enterprises, newly constructed projects, the R&D center, and the company’s Party‑and‑mass activity center. They exchanged insights and experiences—drawing on concrete practices such as tree planting for sand fixation—regarding corporate technological innovation, workplace safety, Party building’s role in guiding high‑quality enterprise development, and the ways in which retired military personnel contribute within the organization, while also discussing their shared vision for future growth.
